  Queen Anne Britannia standard silver lighthouse caster, London 1702. The cover with open cut-card work around the finial and bayonet fitting to body. Marked on the body with Britannia, lion’s head erased and date letter; the cover struck with maker’s mark of (probably) Francis Garthorne and lion’s head erased (both partly lost in piercing). 6 inches high; 5.27 ounces

  Good Queen Anne Britannia standard silver bleeding bowl (or porringer), fully marked on the rim, and with a lion’s head erased on the handle, by Edward Gibbon, London 1704. The top of the handle scratch engraved with initials MS, and the underside with IH. 7.1 inches long including handle; 6 ounces
