Early 17th century silver gilt pineapple cup Nuremberg circa 1620Small German parcel gilt silver pineapple cup and cover by Paulus Feil (fl.1609-1629), Nuremberg circa 1620. Marked on rim of cup, inside the cover and with an assay scrape on the foot. The body and foot lobed, the stem cast as a branch with a bird perching in the centre. The detachable cover with vase of flowers finial. 11 inches high; 7.62 ounces
